An Unsolved Tragedy
The small town of Villisca, Iowa is home to the infamous Axe Murder House. A small house known for it’s tragic history, the Axe House is a favorite location for paranormal investigators and true crime lovers alike.
The team has investigated the Axe House on 2 separate occasions. It’s a location that drew us in from the start leaving no doubt that we will return time and time again to continue our investigations. There is an energy in this home that cannot be explained but can only be experienced. Angie describes it as stepping into a different house every time she entered. The atmosphere seemed to move and shift around us and the walls felt, at times, to pulsate with intelligent energy. Our first investigation together happened here, our most intense moments happened here, and our decision to continue our paranormal journeys together happened here.
The accounts of paranormal activity that happen here will vary depending on who you speak with. Some people have terrifying experiences while others experience positive interactions with the spirits here. The house and the spirits here remain a mystery to us, but we love this place dearly and can not wait to return for our third visit.
